Overview

Blockchair Scraper pulls on-chain blockchain data — network stats, wallet addresses and transactions — as clean, structured records. Get network-wide numbers per chain (blocks, transactions, price, market cap, mempool, nodes), look up balances and activity for any address, or fetch the details of any transaction. Works across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash and more. Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or XML. Fast and reliable for crypto analytics, dashboards, research and automation workflows.

What does this blockchain scraper do?

Pick a mode, list the chains you care about, and it returns every matching record as structured data:

  • Stats — network-wide on-chain stats for each chain: total blocks and transactions, current price and market cap, difficulty, 24h hashrate, mempool size and node count.
  • Address — balance and activity for one or more addresses: current balance, total received and spent, and transaction count, looked up on each chain you list.
  • Transaction — details for one or more transaction hashes: block, timestamp, fee, input/output counts and USD value.

What data can you get?

Mode Fields
Stats chain, blocks, transactions, marketPriceUsd, marketCapUsd, difficulty, hashrate24h, mempoolTransactions, nodes
Address chain, address, balance, received, spent, txCount, balanceUsd
Transaction chain, hash, blockId, time, fee, inputCount, outputCount, valueUsd

What you get

Each chain, address or transaction is one clean dataset record. Every row carries a mode field so you can tell them apart. Export the full table to JSON, CSV, Excel or XML, or pull it programmatically.

{
  "mode": "stats",
  "chain": "bitcoin",

  "marketCapUsd": 1548049550377,
  "mempoolTransactions": 3046,
  "nodes": 278
}

Use cases

  • Track network health — blocks, transactions, mempool and node counts — on a dashboard.
  • Pull live price and market cap per chain into an analytics or reporting pipeline.
  • Monitor wallet balances and activity across multiple blockchains at once.
  • Look up transaction fees, timestamps and USD values for accounting or research.
  • Power a bot that reports on-chain metrics on a schedule.

How to use the Blockchair Scraper

  1. Add the Blockchair Scraper to your Apify account and open its input.
  2. Choose a mode: stats, address or transaction.
  3. List the chains to query (e.g. bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin).
  4. For address mode add addresses; for transaction mode add hashes.
  5. Click Run, then export the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or XML, or pull them via the Apify API.

Input

{
  "mode": "stats",
  "chains": ["bitcoin", "ethereum"]
}
Field Description
mode stats, address or transaction.
chains Blockchains to query, e.g. ["bitcoin","ethereum","litecoin"].
addresses Addresses to look up in address mode (queried on every listed chain).
hashes Transaction hashes to look up in transaction mode.
delayMs Pause between requests (ms) to keep the run polite.

Tip: chaining modes

Start with stats to get a snapshot of each chain, then switch to address to watch specific wallets, or transaction to inspect individual transfers — reusing the same chains list each time.

Output schema

Fields below are for the stats mode. The address and transaction modes return their own record shapes, and each row carries a mode field so you can tell them apart.

Field Type Description
mode string The mode that produced the record.
chain string Blockchain slug (e.g. bitcoin).
blocks integer Total blocks on the chain.
transactions integer Total transactions on the chain.
marketPriceUsd number Current coin price in USD.
marketCapUsd number Current market capitalisation in USD.
difficulty number Current mining difficulty.
hashrate24h string 24-hour average network hashrate.
mempoolTransactions integer Transactions currently in the mempool.
nodes integer Reachable network nodes.

Which chains are supported?

Major chains including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Zcash, Groestlcoin and more. Just pass the lowercase, hyphenated slug (e.g. bitcoin-cash) in the chains list.

FAQ

Which blockchains and data are covered? Network stats, address balances and transaction details across Bitcoin, Ethereum and many other chains. Pass any supported chain slug in the chains list.

How do address and transaction modes handle multiple chains? Every address or hash you provide is looked up on each chain in the chains list, so you can compare the same target across networks in one run.

What export formats are supported? JSON, CSV, Excel and XML, plus programmatic access through the Apify API.

How does billing work? You pay per item you get, so cost scales with the number of records you actually collect. See the Pricing tab for current rates.

Can I use this with n8n? Yes. Run the Blockchair Scraper from n8n with the Apify node — trigger a run, pass your mode and chains, and read the dataset items straight into your workflow. It also works with Make, Zapier and the Apify API.

Can I connect this to other tools? The Blockchair Scraper connects with almost any cloud service or web app thanks to integrations on the Apify platform. It works with Make, Zapier, Slack, Airbyte, GitHub, Google Drive and many more, plus the Apify API, JavaScript/Python clients and MCP. Or use webhooks to trigger an action whenever a run finishes.
